We often view ‘clutter’ as that ‘stuff’ around us that needs to be organized. It is true, that the material objects in our environment are often cluttered and clutter, by definition, is that ‘which impedes progress’, it sneaks into our lives in many forms often we do not view it as toxic or unhealthy. This type of clutter can do as much, if not more damage than the ‘stuff’ that we physically see in our homes.Types of clutter can vary, but its important to pause and investigate all types of clutter in your life in order to release it, this can include:
- Weight gain/processed foods
- What we drink
- Negative self-talk
- Judging others
- Unclean environments
- Head clutter/energetic clutter
- Social Media, E-mail, Texts
- Chemical clutter
These are many the ways we let clutter into our lives, yet it is as important to clear out these types of clutter as is it to clear out the ‘stuff’ in our homes. This may take a while, but in the end you will find its well worth the journey!
